Samara Moni - Take Me Home

ARTIST INFORMATION
Samara Moni’s hit song-I’m Sorry-Now on IRC and Take Me Home
Samara, who hails from Orlando, comes from deep musical roots. Her grandfather and great uncle were singers and musicians in a Latin band, and this was what initially drew her interest. Her first musical experience was at age eleven. After joining chorus in middle school, she also had the opportunity to participate in a talent show. She performed a song by Alicia Keys, one of her first musical idols, and was rewarded for her effort, with a bouquet of flowers. She knew then, that this is the life she wanted.

Her next brush with stardom was in her late teens, performing at the Peacock Room as the vocalist for a local cover band doing reggae and rhythm and blues music. Later on, at her part time job at one of Orlando’s nightclubs, she became known as the singing bartender, which further encouraged her to pursue a career as music professional. One night, while she was working at her job, someone recognized the microphone tattoo that she proudly bears like a badge on her left arm. When he curiously asked her about it, she replied, that her desire was to have a professional career as a vocalist and performer, but did not have access to a studio. He suggested she come to his studio and collaborate with him, as co-writers. During one session, a member of the studio audience informed her that they knew a good producer looking for a vocal talent and if interested, they would put her in touch. This eventually lead her to meeting up with Joanne Pepitone (President; Galaxy Orlando Records), who has been instrumental in developing her into the artist she is today.

When you first meet Samara Moni, you can’t help being impressed by her looks. Don’t let that fool you. If you can recover long enough to listen to her voice, you will be in for a real treat. She has worked hard over the last two years with Joanne Pepitone (known for her vocal polishing skills & musical composition) to develope her signature sound.
