My name is Stephanie of My Luv Notes. I am a writer of truths, a storyteller and a singer.  In sharing my music with you, we share the emotion, the pain and the struggle along with the triumph, together. In that truth, when my words and music resonate within, you have a home in my music and in my heart forever. And I hope and pray I will forever remain in your heart.  You are never alone. Take my hand and walk with me on this incredible journey called life. Here is my take on it.

One of the greatest losses in life is that of a mother. Perhaps because one of the greatest loves is that of a mother.

Feel the yearning and the pain of a child that cries for their mother in heaven to be the angel on their shoulder to wipe their tear away.  The mother speaks to the child in the song as well for a heartfelt and emotional understanding is reached between them.  The mother reaffirms her love for the child and promises that she will always be the angel on the child’s shoulder to wipe their tear away.

If this song makes you cry it’s because you can feel the love and pain in the song for the loss of a mother.

Jack Taylor was born and raised in West Texas before eventually moving to the DFW, Texas area where he and his brothers played the nightclub circuit in a lot of bands from the past, which included a southern concert tour with ZZ Top, a concert appearance with Leonard Skynard, J. Geils Band, Robin Trower, Eric Bourdon, Brownsville Station, as well as many other headlining acts of that period.

Jack's love of music spans multiple genres. Maybe that’s because his family always held lots of ‘get togethers’ with guitars and singing while he was growing up.
He took 3 mos. of guitar lessons at the age of 13 and the rest he pretty much just picked up on his own. So Jack’s definitely what you would call a ‘home grown’ musician!

By paying for those initial guitar lessons, his dad thought he was going to end up with a Spanish Flamenco Guitarist in the family, not a Songwriter!!! Well, some things just never turn out the way you think they will!

Being a songwriter and musician, Jack is a fan of many different types of music. He loves the fact that every genre has something unique to share with the average listener...whether it be Country, Pop, EDM, Rock, MOR, Jazz, or any of several other sub-genres!

Although you'll never be able to take West Texas out of the man, Jack really appreciates the freedom being a 'Songwriter' gives him. Unlike an artist that must stay true to his media image, Jack has the freedom to reach out and touch many different styles and tastes in his writing endeavors! And doing that, helps him get his stories out to the world!!!

These days, if you can’t find Jack, he’s probably locked himself in a writing room somewhere crafting his next best seller!

When the song has completed the crafting phase, it’s off to Nashville, where it is placed in the hands of a trusted, multi-talented producer who brings together the singers and musicians Jack has personally selected for his project. After assembling this select group of elite musicians and singers, with a 'credits' list that will make your jaw drop, the effort of producing a top notch professional studio production of his work for radio and you, begins! Some of the most talented singers and musicians in all of Nashville can be heard on Jack’s albums!

While this last step is very expensive, it underscores Jack’s absolute commitment to uncompromising quality, and acts as a signature of what one can expect from Jack Taylor and JT Productions / Songwriter Journeys.
