Nick de la Hoyde

“Mesmerizing.” - Billboard

“Nick de la Hoyde is definitely a rapper, but he is also a singer and a spoken word artist with a sound that integrates pop and alternative in addition to traditional hip-hop. To say he’s covering a lot of bases is an understatement.” – Young Hollywood

“From Kylie to Troye Sivan, the Land Down Under has been fairly consistent in exporting some great musical acts over the years. Another Aussie musician to add to your watchlist?... Nick de la Hoyde.” - PopCrush

A head of his anticipated debut album, Australian recording artist Nick de la Hoyde has announced the release of his brand new single “Ghost”.

Ghost represents the 3rd single from the album ‘A Beautiful Mess’ (set for release in January 2020). When describing Ghost Nick explains “I guess you could say Ghost is an upbeat song that has a nostalgic feel to it, reminiscing on childhood days and the thoughts of growing older and slowly fading away. I collaborated on this song with my brother ZU/ZU who produced the track and many others on my album.”

Topping 10M+ streams across all platforms including Spotify and Apple Music Nick de la Hoyde is proving himself an artist that demands attention. Steadily gaining traction in his native Australia, he has received support across every commercial pop station there and has charted on the Australian Independent Radio Charts.

Growing up in a multi-cultural home with a Syrian mother and British father, Nick de la Hoyde was exposed to many global influences which he weaved into his music, melding his love of hip-hop and R&B with electronic alt/dance beats together with introspective lyrics that chronicled a young musician’s journey to adulthood, overcoming life and artistic challenges along the path.

BIO
Growing up in a multi-cultural home with a Syrian mother and British father, Sydney based, singer songwriter Nick de la Hoyde was exposed to many global influences that he now weaves into his music.

Melding his love of hip hop, pop and R&B with introspective lyrics that chronicles a young musician’s journey to adulthood, overcoming life and artistic challenges along the path, Nick and his long-time producer/collaborator/older brother Joseph (ZUZU) de la Hoyde, have together crafted a sound that is simultaneously intimate, expansive and engaging.

Having penned confessional, real life anthems, such as Ghost, Animals, California, Mirror MirrorHold Me Close, and Love Takes Time, that oscillate between moody, textured R&B, anthemic synth laden future-pop and hip hop moments, combined with a lyrical earnestness that speaks directly to today's younger generation.  Nick has quickly made a name for himself, cultivating a large and dedicated on-line following and becoming a powerful voice for youth empowerment and positivity.
