Chidubem Jacob Emmanuel (born 1st July 1998), known professionally as Jake chowman is a Nigerian rapper,singer, producer,actor and songwriter. He started recording music at the age of 15 and managed to release some songs with S.L.M.C a group he and his friend kaptain formed. He was discovered by duxty records In 2016 after he heard his demo and productions,Jake under duxty records released his debut single “priceless” in 2017 a song he dedicated to his mom and all virtuous women around the world. In early 2019 he made an impression upon the release of his collaboration with kazma a song he titled dollar bills. With both his debut single making waves, He released another smashing hit before the close of 2019 “Need a girl”, upon the first week of its release need a girl topped charts while trending on digital platforms,the visuals was released by duxty records the following year
EARLY LIFE OF Jake Chowman Jake chowman born on 1st July 1998 in onitsha,Anambra state to a Family of six, Jake Hails from Ukwa west L.G.A Abia state, he’s the third child of his parents. He attended the redeemed Christian school and later left his parents at the age of 9 to benin city,where he completed his primary and secondary education. He grew up listening to Eminem,lil Wayne,snoop dogg,2face,nigga raw, rugged man,rule clean,91ce and psquare his love for music is unmatched...as he was named mtv base by some members of his community in benin.

Jake decided to make best his talent when he couldn’t afford to pay his tuition fees and hence gave up on further education barely 3weeks after gaining admission. He teamed up with mr ancient who then managed the crew(S.L.M.C) they created for a short while before leaving the country, hence,the crew disbanded. Jake met with songsmith,joe blaque and netwurk Evans in 2014 and further enhanced his skills in music by learning beat making from the prolific music producer songsmithpro. Fast forward to 2016,he became a part of the duxty records family till date.
